Comments
When visitors leave comments we collect the data shown in the form along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
Media
If you upload images, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment you may opt-in to saving your name, email and website in cookies so you do not have to fill in your details again. These cookies last for one year. We set temporary cookies to determine if your browser accepts cookies while logging in. Login cookies last two days and screen options cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me” your login will persist for two weeks. Additional cookies saved when editing or publishing an article expire after one day.

Who we share data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Otherwise we do not share any personal information unless required for legal compliance.
How long we retain data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize follow-up comments automatically. For registered users we store the personal information they provide in their profile and administrators can edit that information.
Your rights over data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you or request erasure of any personal data we hold, excluding data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Data may also be processed through trusted providers we use to run Float Health.
